What has happend at 10 Towns Church lately? Here you can find relevant news:
What a great celebration of the resurrection of Jesus and a celebration of answered prayer. Father’s Day 2018, this wonderful lady, Gloria, was in a horrific car accident. She had multiple broken bones (the list seemed endless), a broken neck, broken collar bone, broken ribs, broken fingers, broken ankles, and a punctured lung. She was in the hospital and a care facility for many months. But today, she “walked” into the Fellowship House to celebrate Jesus! And don’t let me forget, before here accident we had been praying for her husband, Paul, to come to know Jesus and join her in Church. Paul has been coming to church while Gloria has been healing. Paul has become part of the 10 Towns family and more importantly he is part of the family of God!
Due to the extremely low temperatures for Wednesday, we will not be having our Ears-to-Hear Bible Study. Also, Storytime with Ms. Lisa is canceled for Thursday.
Wow! I pray we become as serious about gathering together to encourage one another in the faith and worship as a community as this local church.
53 boxes for Operation Christmas Child labeled with tracking numbers getting ready to begin their journey to bless 53 children and their families somewhere in the world.
So excited about the start of Operation Christmas Child packing week. Thank you to all the 10 Towners for your participation.
Great day of shooting and spending time with each other.
A great day of worship, picnicking, and fellowship.
Gloria loved having church in her hospital room.
We brought church to our Sister, Gloria, today as she is recovering in the hospital.
We found this article to be of interest. We tend to live our church lives as if a relationship with God is part of our lives like work, school, little league, lacrosse, etc. When in fact there is a spiritual war going on. Are we prepared for the battle? Below is a local article and our response is found below. 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. The New International Version. (2011). (Eph 6:10–18).
